Andrew Dodds, CFP®
"The best part of my job is when a member comes into our office with financial worries and walks away with a plan and confidence in the future, leaving their worries behind."
Andrew received a degree in economics from Stanford University, which ultimately led to his career in private wealth management. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), he has over 30 years of experience in the industry, with 22 of those as a private wealth manager in Colorado.
Prior to Stanford, his study of fine art and painting led him to consider a career in art. Andrew’s art background fuels his ability to think creatively and to picture the entirety of his member’s hopes, dreams, and goals. Andrew believes that every piece of art is unique and original – just like his members’ goals and dreams.
Andrew was born in Canada, and grew up surfing in Laguna Beach, California. He enjoys skiing, tennis, and golfing with his wife May. They also love to take walks with Hanalei, their 12 year-old black lab. Andrew and May are adjusting to being empty-nest parents, with one son graduated from college and the other in his junior year.
Despite a full schedule, Andrew finds time for painting watercolors. In fact, Andrew's artwork is featured throughout the website. He is an associate member of the National Watercolor Society as well as a member of the Colorado Watercolor Society. He hopes to be a signature member sometime in the future.
